Has anyone out there done any research on the town of Schnaittach in Hessen
near Nuremberg? If so please contact me privately. I am interested in a
family BEMSEL. My research indicates that most BEMSEL's in the area are not
Jewish, but one Jewish family in 1813 adopted the name, for reasons
unknown.
