success story #general

Dear friends,
I want to thank so many of you I am afraid I might leave out names, if I
did, forgive me, but after 3 years of plodding on, with help over time >from
Gabi Svatos in Toronto, Willie Glaser in Montreal, Jonathan Gadir in Sydney
(probably a cousin on my Dad's side), Peter Gergay in CA, Louis Schonfeld,
and the many responses to questions you folks answered for me I have been
able to reasonably reunite a very separated family.
The ASCHNERs I found in Sweden, Ireland, Sydney, Montreal,, Budapest,
North Carolina are all most likely descendants of a patriarch in the Nyitra
region of the old Austro-Hungarian empire. As we match notes by email the
elder generations piece together to reveal a tapestry of many siblings
having households that lost contact with each other over generations.
We of the current generation are thrilled to find each other. Thank you so
much for being part of this miracle.
Keep on keeping on!
