I've noticed the same thing too, for people whose birthdays that
I do know. I can only guess that they didn't know the year.

Another thing I've noticed is that information is much more
complete for some states than for others. I live in Virginia and
could not find myself. After a while, I realized that I could not
find anyone whom I know who live in Virginia. Same goes for
Washington, DC. The info for these is very sparse.

So, Caveat Emptor.

I have a cousin and her husband both listed at this site as being born
24-Aug-00 and 28-Mar-00 respectively. I already had their birthdates
but decided to look them up anyway. They were born in 1927 and 1930, so
why would they be listed as being born in 1900? Or is this their way of
showing that they have no information of their birthyear?! Does anyone
have any idea on this?
