Help for finding French Naturalisation #general
Micheline GUTMANN <MichelineGUTMANN@...>
Several people asked for help in research of people living at the begining
of 20th century in France. In the case of a French naturalisation, there
is an alphabetical list (since 1900) at the Archives of Paris. When we go
there to do a research, we may have a look at this list. We may note the
date and file number.
But the research of the file is more difficult, it is necessary to go to
other places, in general to Archives Nationales (CARAN) and there the
copies are very expensive with their new system.
In that case, it is possible to write the principal information.
We do it sometimes for members when we go there.
