Re: All Krakow Mormon Records Indexed #general

Recently, it was announced that -all- Krakow records that are on the Mormon
films have been indexed and are available on-line. This is an amazing resource! I found out, only recently, that I have ancestors who were in Krakow. Working between the indexes and the microfilms in Salt Lake City, research is now incredibly quick and easy. The records are still in Polish -- early ones in paragraph form, later ones in column form -- but deciphering is very straightforward with a bit of education. And, if you can make it to Salt Lake City for the July conference, there will be no dearth of education in Polish records. I hope the Krakow Shtetl CO-OP heroes will be there so we can all thank them!
