My ggg grandfather, Szymin Jakub KALMANOWICZ, was >from "Kraszewo",
according to his son's marriage record in Sierpc, Poland (about 24 km.
north of Plock).

There appear to be 2 Kraszewo's in the area; one outside of Ciechenow
and the other outside of Mlawa.

After searching all of the sites and databases I could think of, I
cannot find any clues as to which one it may have been. Does anybody
know if either had Jews?

I did discover that the LDS microfilms include christian films for a
town called Kroczewo in the Plonsk region - is it the same town as
either of the above?
