Hryniow (Ukr. Hryniv) was in former Bobrka (Ukr. Bibrka) county in Galicia.
It's just a couple miles north of Bibrka, and some 15 miles southeast of
Lviv/Lwow/Lemberg. According to Kubyjovich, it had a 1939 population of
1150, with 35 Jews.
Bukow might be Budkow (Ukr. Budkiv), which is located just a couple miles
west of Hryniow. 1939 population was 800, with 20 Jews.
I just found out that my ggm Feige Frankel was born in Hriniow, Galicia
