I have the manifest for the S.S. Russia, which shows my relative, Ette
GRINBERG (Greenberg) arriving at Ellis Island, Sept. 11, 1910. She was
travelling with two children, Moruch and Sore. I believe that Moruch
Grinberg was my grandfather, Morris KELLNER. This might sound strange,
but I believe he was travelling with his aunt, Ette. In the box above
where "child" is written, are the these numbers:
2-985997-7/7/42. Is there anyone on the list that might have experience
with this kind of situation and if so, what do these numbers refer to? I
would be happy to fax the manifest to anyone who might be able to shed
some light on this.
