One theory is that the Jewish female name Mindl is based on
Mendl. Just as Mendl follows Menahem, i.e. Menahem Mendl, so
Mindl may derive >from Menuha.
Another theory is that all of these Mina names, Mindy, Minnie,
etc. come >from Wilhelmina.
