I have posted on ViewMate the name of town listed as the last place of
residence for my GF on a Hamburg passenger list in 1913. I assume it is
written in German. 10 years later the remaining members of the family left

from Ekaterinopol (Katerinopol), Ukraine in the Kiev gubernia, so I assume

he probably left >from the same area.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. It is the first name listed on
ViewMate file VM049. There is some ink bleedthru making it difficult for
