I don't know for whom, and when and where it was true. But as I
mentioned earlier, my maternal grandmother came on her own at age 17.
However, it did state on the passenger list that she was planning to
meet up with her father, and gave the address where he was living at
that time. This was Baltimore, Maryland (USA) port, year 1913.
