I am researching the names Mendoza, DeMendoza and Rodriguez in Puerto
Rico. Family lore has it that my father was of Jewish descent but I have
not been able to verify this. My grandfather, who I was told was >from
Seville, came to Puerto Rico in the late 1800's. He married into the
Rodriguez family and had five sons and one daughter. The family was
supposedly associated with the town of Rio Grande, P.R. but I have not
