I just located a shetl by the name of CHAUSSKII in Mogilev. This is listed in 1911. Does it still exist and if so what is the name of it today. I have not been able to find it on the shetl list. -------
Check the name in JewishGen's Shtetl Seeker. In addition, YIVO's Landsmanshaften Archive holds documents of a "Tchausser Society" which (according to Schwartz & Milamed) was formed by folks >from "Chaussy" in Mogilev province.
