Clarification on Kozelets and Kozelets Poviat #belarus

Thank you Mark Grekin and Warren Blatt for clarifying Kozelets and Kozelets
Poviat. I learned that "Poviat" is a Polish word meaning "district" in
English and "uyezd" in Russian. Kozelets is the town itself while the
Poviat is the countryside outside of the town within the district. Poviat
is a Polish term that perhaps should not used unless one is discussing the
geographic area as it existed over 400 years ago. To both of you, thank
you.
