1) In some of the entries I have found that a person has made a second
trip and was recorded on both journeys.

2) I have also found entries indicating that the individual was employed
on the ship and, if so, may have made many trips.

When you are able to get to read the manifest, you may find one of these
to be the case, especially the second, >from the sounds of it.
