June Sabroff asked if we could help identify a town listed on a ship's
manifest as Jetoma, near Kiev. My ancestors came >from Zhytomyr, near Kiev.
I was able to find this town on MapQuest with the information provided
through Shtetl Seeker for the spelling. There is no English equivalent for
the Russian 'Zhy' so it is possible the clerk for the ship's manifest
