Czech and Slovak articles of genealogical interest #general

Vitdoc@...

I want to encourage those Bohmor's and Jewishgenner's not receiving "Nase
Rodina," newsletter of the Czechoslovak Genealogical Society International
--to try and get a copy (perhaps at your library) of the September issue
2001.
--It features an article on the B'nai Jehoshua Temple started in 1893 by
Czech Jews in Chicago. It also lists other Czech Jewish congregations in the
USA.
--Sucany is the cover story with information on this town in Slovakia and
its Jews.
--Doudleby nad Orlici by Eytan Lederer of Haifa, Israel writes about his
town in NE Bohemia in the district of Rychnov nad Kneznou.
--Sources for Jewish research in Bohemia with a list that includes our
sig.
--A Jewish genealogy Potpourri compiled by the editor of this
journal--Paul Makousky whose e-mail address is [deleted in accordance
with JewishGen privacy policy -- Mod.]

I think you will enjoy these articles and it is very generous of this
publication to devote so much space this month to Czech Jewish genealogical
stories. I hope you will write Mr. Makousky and thank him.
