Further re the response of Prof.Esterson regarding the female name of
Rendla/Randla, and perhaps as some confirmation of Beider's suggested
link to Reyna/Rayna (Queen), there is a listing in the work of A.A.
Fraenckel, "Memoire Juive en Alsace", a compilation of marriage
contracts deposited with Notaries in Alsace >from 1701-1791, for a bride
"Rennche"in 1769. This was a common form of a diminutive/nickname for
Reine, a French version of Malka. The diminutive endings were diferent
in different countries, according to Kaganoff, the "del" or "dle"
diminutives were more more common in Germany or Poland, for example. So
perhaps this is indeed the answer to your problem.
