There is no East 11th Avenue. Perhaps you mean 11th Street. Many
Jewish people lived in that general area at the beginning of the 20th
Century. I think the best way for you to start is to look at the City
Directory for New York for the early 20th Century. There probably is a
Family History Center (Mormon) somewhere in Germany (Check the Web).
They can help you access the microfilm of the directories.
