On the above typewritten manifest for 1923, under a column heading: "If
Naturalized, Give Name and Location of Court Which Issued Naturalization
Papers and Date of Papers," we see many entries under "U.S.P." with a 6-
digit number following and "Washington, D.C." underneath.

(Although genealogists are trained never to "assume," I'm going to take a
chance and guess that those digits represent Passport Numbers as in USP).

But then we have a variety of dates, all in the Spring of 1923, next to
the USP numbers. Anyone experienced with this type of Manifest, please
contact me with your opinionsregarding those dates.
