Can anyone help with name changes?

I have traced family with the names Moritz, Nechame, Rifka, Yirl,
Sima and Naftali.

Moritz became Morris.

Nechame is a mystery - I have been advised it could have been changed
to Nettie?

Rifka became Beckie.

Yirl is a mystery.

Sima - I have been advised it could have been changed to Pearl, Celia
or Sylvia?

Naftali - is a mystery.

Any ideas would be most welcome.
