I have recently begun researching the ENGEL family. My husband's grandfather was Hermann ENGEL who lived in Berlin in the early 1900s before moving to Cairo and eventually settling in New York. His parents' names were Gustav ENGEL and Jenny LOEWY ENGEL. I believe Hermann had a brother called Hans Engel. I have been told that the Engel family originated >from Hamburg but, as yet, have no other information. Any help would be welcomed. Thanks Trisha Maynard
