JFRA Tel Aviv Wednesday Nov. 6 #general

Schelly Dardashti <dardasht@...>

JFRA Tel Aviv branch is happy to announce its next program at its new
meeting place.

7 pm, Wednesday, November 6
Ezorei Chen Country Club, upstairs meeting room

Micha Reisel will present his very interesting program on the "Changing
Borders of Eastern Europe."
Very well received at the branches in Ra'anana and Petah Tikva, it is an
excellent program for newcomers and more advanced researchers.
Providing an overview of where, when, why and how these changes impacted
our families, the topic continues to impact us in our research,
particularly in locating archival documents.
On a personal note, I finally understood why my grandfather, from
Skalat/Suchostav (Austria-Hungary > Poland > Ukraine) also spoke Slovak.
This program is in English.

Batya Unterschatz will speak at JFRA Ra'anana at 7 pm Wednesday,
November 20. Batya's talk will center on resources in Israel for
locating people, as well as the decades of family reunifications she
enabled while at the Search Bureau for Missing Relatives which closed a
few years ago. Please mark your calendars to join us in Ra'anana for
this very interesting presentation.
Ra'anana's programs are in English.

JFRA members, NIS 5; others, NIS 15.
