KUPINSKY - COOPER- YUDELEVITCH #general
Gerald Shapiro
Dear Genners,
I am trying to locate any descendants of either the Kupinsky
or Yudelevitch families, who lived in or near Kremenchuk,
Poltava in the late 1800's or early 1900's.
My Grandmother's Father was Baruch Shalom Kupinsky
( b. about 1835) who married Sheine Channa Yudelevitch
(b.1862) and I believe Sheine had a sister Rachel
Chainy Yudelevitch. My Grandmother was named Pesia and
she had a sister Sonia, who died at an early age.
It is known that a branch of the Yudelevitch family
settled in Rishon Le Zion around the turn of the century
and was involved in the wine industry there. Another
member of the family named Mike Cooper settled in the
West of England.
It is likely that the settlers in Rishon may have
changed their name.
Can anyone throw any light on any of the descendants
of the above or even on any family who may have stayed
on in Poltava or who may have emigrated elsewhere?

Thank you,
Gerald Shapiro
