KOCH-KRAUSE #general

A friend called Francis KOCH-KRAUSE died earlier this year, in hospital,
but no one has been able to trace his family. The local authority in
Barking, east London, is anxious to dispose of Francis' effects, and
friends would like to access some of his papers, but unless a relative
comes forward this cannot be done.
Francis' mother came as a refugee >from Germany, and although he was not
given a Jewish upbringing, Francis believed she might have been Jewish,
and he had many Jewish friends. He was married at one time, and had a
daughter, but they had become estranged.
If any Jewish genners can throw light on Francis' family connections or
better still consider they might be relatives, I'll be pleased to put them
in touch with those who were close to him.
