March Meeting of Jewish Genealogical Society of Greater Philadelphia #general

Date: March 8, 2004
Time: 7:45 PM
Place: The Newman Building at Gratz College
Old York Road (Route 611) and Melrose Avenue
Melrose Park, PA
Speaker: Margaret Jerrido

Topic: Organizing Your Materials
We are fortunate to have a speaker we heard 15 months ago on
another subject. This time she will offer advice on organizing those
piles of genealogical materials that we have accumulated over the
years. Ms. Jerrido's presentations are always succinct, clear, and well
organized. We look forward to her visit.

Margaret Jerrido has been the Archivist and Head of the Urban
Archives at Temple University's Paley Library for some 13 years.
She has made many presentations to historical and genealogical
societies and other groups interested in the history of Philadelphia.
In addition, she conducts oral histories and teaches oral history
techniques. Ms. Jerrido is on the Boards of the Pennsylvania
Historical and Museum Commission and of the Genealogical Society
of Pennsylvania. She has been president and an officer of local and
regional archival groups.
