Re: Where Is Feline or Feilene, Russia? #general

One bit of advice regarding searching the EIDB, use Steve Morse's site
at http://www.stevemorse.org
And also don't assume that the town they came >from is listed. They
could have easily stated Glasgow, Liverpool or London or Hamburg, etc,
if they spent any amount of time between sailings and went indirectly
to the US.
Hope this helps.

Thanks to everybody who rseponded to my previous querry with all the
various posibilities of where this place might be or is presently called.
Looking again at the Ellis Island Data Base for the arrival of Joseph RUDICK
in 1911 with fresh ideas, I now see that what I thought was a first letter as
being F, might actually be a T & so I'm now guessing it to be Tallinn in
present day Estonia.
The many suggestions were very helpful & appreciated
Best Regards,
