Szajndla #general

Does anyone know if there is an English equivalent or Yiddish equivalent to:
Szajndla a first name in a Polish civil register in 1844?
A strict translation into English would be Beauty. It's more likely that the
French or Spanish form would be used--Belle or Bella.

My great aunt was named Szajna Dwora LEJBSHON. In the U.S. she changed this
name to Jennie (which sounds vaguely like her name). On the other hand my
grandmother was Nachama; she changed her name first to Jennie and later to Janet.
