President of West Pasco Genealogy Society to Speak
On “How To Use Your Local Family History Library”

The Jewish Genealogical Society of Tampa Bay will meet at 2:00 PM Sunday
April 25, 2004 at Gulf Coast Jewish Family Services, 14041 Icot Blvd.,
Clearwater, Florida The President of the West Pasco Genealogy Society, Debbe
Hagner, will speak on "How To Use Your Local Family History Library". Ms
Hagner is a professional genealogist and an accredited genealogist through
the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints (LDS) in Salt Lake City. Many
local LDS churches maintain affiliated Family History Centers and their
facilities and resources are available to any interested family history
researcher. Several LDS churches in the Tampa Bay area offer these
resources, and that will be the subject of Ms. Hagner's presentation. Ms
Hagner has been doing genealogy research on her own family for over 30 years
and has a Certificate in Family History Research - North American Research
from Brigham Young University. The meeting is open to the public. You do
not have to be a member of the Jewish Genealogical Society of Tampa Bay to
attend this meeting.
Dr. Emil H. Isaacson, our VP of education and our librarian, and the author
of "2004 Guide to Jewish Genealogy: A Foundation for Beginners and an Update
for Experienced Researchers" will lead a question and answer session prior
to the start of our meeting. Beginning at 1:30 PM (30 minutes prior to the
main program) the main program, Professor Isaacson will be available to
answer your questions and try to help you with your genealogical problems.
