Chaim Freedman, "Grandma's Bobba Meises: The truth."
At the Freedman home in Petah Tikva.

Born in Melbourne, Australia, Chaim is a noted genealogist and author, who made
aliya in 1977 with his wife. His major work is "Eliyahu's Branches: The
Descendants of the Vilna Gaon and his Family," while others include his editing of
Rabbi Shmuel Gorr's "Jewish Personal Names: Their Origin, Derivation and
Diminutive Form," and "Beit Rabbanan: Sources of Rabbinical Genealogy." His
research articles have appeared in "Avotaynu," "Sharsheret Hadorot," "Search" and
the "Journal of the Australian Jewish Historical Society." He lectures frequently
and speaks at international genealogical and historical conferences.
