San Antonio Texas - Cemetery Lookup #general

Jonathan Grodzinski

I am trying to find the name of the father of Isaac BODENHEIMER buried in San
Antonio Jewish cemetery of the original Reform Temple ?? I presume that the
headstone will show this.

If anyone is in the area and could do this (and maybe supply a photograph) I would
be happy to reimburse expenses involved.

data I have on him so far

Isaac BODENHEIMER, born in Biblis, married to a first wife with children born in
Germany, and remarried to Caroline STRAUSS of Heidelberg, with whom he emigrated
along with his children >from the first marriage. They had five children, all born
in America, including a pair of twins both lost during their first year. My
grandmother Hannah BODENHEIMER VICTOR was born in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, in 1877,
her never married sister Sophie was born in Pittsburgh, and brother Leslie in
Cincinatti. The family settled in Columbia, Missouri, for a considerable time,
Isaac working in the liquor industry, and finally leaving for San Antonio, Texas,
in 1914, where they remained and are buried.
