In case you missed the recent announcement he Jewish Records Indexing -
Poland project is happy to announce that the indices to all the Jewish
vital records of Checiny - not filmed by the LDS (Mormons) - have been
indexed by the JRI-Poland team in Warsaw as part of the Kielce Polish
State Archives PSA) Project.

There were many responses and some success stories as well. If you were
one of them please write about it to the Discussion group.

Checiny is located 88 kilometers NNE of Krakow in the Kielce area.
Neighboring towns within 30 kilometers miles include Daleszyce, Kielce,
Sobkow, Chmielnik, Malogoszcz, Jedrzejow, Pinczow, Wodzislaw,
Wloszczowa and Radoszyce.
