musician GLASS and old newspapers. #general

Hello, This is for those of you who might be researching a GLASS family. A
member of my GLASS family (born in Australia), according to family
knowledge, "travelled the world seven times" between, say, 1897 and 1925. He
visited "the Klondike, Utah, New Zealand and South Africa" (maybe elsewhere
as well), as a musician (violinist). He was known, in the parlance of the
times, as "The Great Julian". If anyone has encountered any reports of such
concerts or recitals in newspapers of those years, including reports >from
goldfields, could you please let me know? Named Isaac Samuel GLASS, he was
otherwise known variously as Sam, Alf, Julian. Unfortunately, posters
attesting to these events and sighted by family members, were destroyed
after the death of his wife in 1973.
Thank you,
Bettina Glass, Far North Queensland, Australia.
