Re: findings on the Belarus Site #belarus

Dear SIG Members [& esp. Jerry],

I have reviewed the Belarus database frequently but I
have never acknowledged anyone for it. In particular,
my grandmother and grandfather, as well as cousins of
unknown relationship, are all connected to the
Lahishiner Social Benevolent Society. My mystery is
what the relationship of the Society was to the family
as they hailed >from Lyubashevo and Lakhva, Belarus.

Other Databases that may lead me to more family
include: Pinsk Organizations including Congregation
Dorshei Tov Anshei Pinsk, Lachowicze Revision List of
1816, Lyakhovichi 1880 draft list May, 1880 Minsk
Gubernia Vedomosti, Lachowicze 1883 and 1884 Deputy
and Electors Tax Lists, Jewish Surnames >from the Minsk

So, I would like to thank Jerry and others very much
for the efforts they have made in order for the rest
of us to gain access to data so easily.

Check 'em out!!
