In Jiri Fielder's book Jewish Sights of Bohemia and Moravia, Milos FORMAN is
said to have come >from Caslav in Bohemia. This town is 70 km ESE of Prague and
10 km >from the district town of Kunta Hora. The Jewish religious congregation
there was founded in 1870 and said to have 300 person's of the Jewish faith.
Prior to the mid 1800s only one Jewish family was allowed to live there and
in 1930 the Jews numbered 119.
