Hi Steve,

I decided to reply to the group as this should be of interest to all.

The Douglas E. Goldman Jewish Genealogy Center website (associated with Beth
Hatefutzot) has an online order facility for LDS microfilms covering many
Polish towns and cities.

The URL is: http://www.bh.org.il/Genealogy/ldsbyname.asp?A. Once you have
identified your town and associated microfilm, click on "Order LDS Records",
for the online order form.

My personal experience in ordering >from this site was satisfactory.
It is well to remember that the materials in the possiession of the Goldman
Center are those that were willed to it by Goldman, and cover those towns
and villages in which he was interested. They were his personal collection.
The Center does not, for example, possess records covering the former Lomza
Gubernia, the region of so many of our families, or so I was told when I
tried to use its facilities.
