I agree with Jeremy G. Frankel that "The Sentinel" was one of the Jewish
newspapers published in Chicago in 1915. In addition, the "Advocate" (voice of
Reform Jewry) was also published. If you look in my Infofile "Guide to Jewish

My step grandmother was lost on the Lusitania May 8 1915 after visiting her
son in Chicago

I am in London UK and checked our Newspaper library - I found reports in the
Chicago dailies but the only Jewish newspaper was in Yiddish which I could
not
read.

Was there a Jewish journal published in Chicago 1915 in English ?
