Yet again re Kitchener Camp #general
NFatouros@...
Adding to my previous responses to Chantal Auerbach's inquiry, I refer her to:
http://jewishwebindex.com/britishempire.htm where she can read a three-paragraph description of the Camp Kitchener, which was previously known as "Richborough camp." It was transformed in 1939 as an emergency home for 300 German refugees. The camp's population reached 3,500... It always astonishes me how many things can be found on the Internet. It also astonishing that through the Internet a number of people interested in my family or in my father's architectural accomplishments have found and written to me! No matter what search engines you use, just keep playing around with your search terms, everybody. Maybe you will be happily surprised too.
