Dubin, David M. MD
What a nice group you are! Though not all had the correct answer, everyone put
himself out to help.
Anyway, turns out the name was transcribed wrong, but the date was correct. My
grandfather Isidore used his Jewish name Yitzchak/Itzchok, and it got transcribed
in the index as Igebok. His mother Tryna (pronounced in deepest darkest Poland as
Trah-nuh) was handwritten as Trane and transcribed as the very non-Polish Irene
(the cursive upper case t & i looking alike).
Thank you again. You should be proud of your altruism!
