In December last year members of the Rymanow landsmashfatn >from NYC and
Rabbi Abraham Reich visited Rymanow. In association with Foundation of
Preservation of the Jewish Properties in Warsaw, town and district
authorities and monument conservator, a decision was taken to rebuild the
synagogue.

Town Rymanow was established in 14th century and Jews have settled there in
16th century and were residing till the Rymanow ghetto liquidition in 1942.

Town is known as important Hasidic movement centre and where two of
tzadikim: Menachem Mendl and Tzvi Hersh Cohen resided.
Isaac Isidor Rabi, physics Noble prize winner was born there.
