Edinburgh enquiry #general

Paula Eisenstein Baker enquires about Edinburgh Jewish newspapers in 1914.

I don't know of any specifically Edinburgh Jewish newspapers. In 1914
there was a Yiddish newspaper in Glasgow, but I've only ever seen one or two
copies.

The best thing would be to check in the main general newspaper, "The
Scotsman". This newspaper has an online archive at:

TSPLa&daily=TSC&enter=true&AppName=2&GZ=T&FromWelcome=False&AW=1118247359902

This covers the period 1817-1950.

Searching the index is free, but there is a charge for seeing the full
extract.

By using Jewish as a key word and narrowing the search down to 1914, I found
162 entries - but haven't checked if any refer to the concert.
