Castle Garden was the receiving station for immigrants at the port of New York
port of New York >from 1820 to 1954. Until this year there was no
comprehensive index for the period 1846-1891. Ancestry, com has recently
completed this. It is available by subscription or through any library or
Family History Center that has access to Ancestry Plus.
