I am working on transliteration of tombstones >from the Radomsko cemetery.
I have a tombstone >from 1865 which has a strange acronym on it. It appears
to be the deceased's father's name.
The stone reads:
Morenu Harav Elijahu B R N H (Bet Reish Nun Heh) zecher tzadik livracha
Died On the eve of the 7th day of pesach ....
Are you sure the Heh isn't really a Het? Then it would be
ben reb Noach.
