Years ago, relative who married into the family told me that he was born in
"Docut, Romania" (he spelled it for me and I no longer remember how he
pronounced it), which was apparently near Berlad. He told me that it also
had another name but I failed to write it down. This man's descendants have
recently developed an interested in knowing where he was born. I would
appreciate help anyone can give me in identifying its current name.
