Synagogues on Long Island, New York #general

Renee Steinig <rsteinig@...>

Stephen Field stemarfie@yahoo.com asked for <<names, addresses
and telephone numbers of synagogues on Long Island, New York.>>

A good source for information on synagogues and other Jewish organizations
in Long Island's two suburban counties -- Nassau and Suffolk - is

www.lijewishlinks.org/

This site, sponsored by COJONC (the Council of Jewish Organizations
of Nassau County) and SCOJO (the Suffolk Council of Jewish Organizations),
offers a "Find a Synagogue" link on the upper right-hand corner
of its home page. The site has not been updated for quite some time,
but, except for personnel changes, most of the synagogue information
should be correct.
