RICHON in Switzerland #general
Stephen Warshall <lister@...>
I am looking into the ancestry of Jules RICHON, born in
Switzerland in about 1847, who emigrated to the US in 1870. His descendants think he may have been Jewish, but there is no strong evidence, positive or negative. Has any JewishGenner encountered this surname in Swiss records, particularly in the Suisse romande (since the family was French-speaking)? Any leads would be much appreciated.
