GREENBERG/GOLDSTEIN Marriage Certificate - Louis and Leah GREENBERG Petition for Naturalization #general

Karen Zale

Hi fellow researchers,
I am looking for information about my maternal
grandparents family. My grandfather's name was Lable
GRYNSZTEJN (Louis GRUNSTEIN). He arrived in the US
between 1890 and 1892 and changed his name to Louis
GREENBERG. I think he was >from either Pultusk or
Wyszkow, Poland. He married my grandmother Fannie
KAPLAN, before 1896 and they had six children. Fannie
KAPLAN was >from Chernigov, Russia and came to the US
between 1890 - 1892. Any information about the family
would be greatly appreciated.

While researching, I sent off for a marriage
certificate >from New York City. However, it was the
wrong family. It is for Louis Greenberg and Sarah
Goldstein. I also have the Petition for Naturalization
papers for Louis Greenberg and wife Leah, four
children are also listed. If either of these people
are your family, I would be happy to forward the
papers on to you. Please respond privately.
