John Glass Family of Toronto, Ontario, Canada #general

Barbara Musikar

My husband's cousin was John GLASS. Mr. GLASS' family was originally from
Kozhan Gorodok and Luninnets which are now in Belarus. He was most likely a
nephew of my husband's grandmother, Chaya Dwora GLASS MUZYKANT, who resided
with her daughter, Tzirel and son-in-law, Moshe Cohen, in Luninnets and
perished in the Shoah.

Mr. GLASS achieved prominence in the Jewish community of Toronto by being
one of the first Jews to serve on Toronto's public school board. He later
became a member of the Ontario Provincial parliament during the mid 1930's.
I have been told that there may be two surviving sons and other family in
Toronto, as well as Pembroke Pines, FL but I am unable to locate them. The
sons' names are George and Jesse GLASS.

If anyone knows this GLASS family and can help me locate Mr. GLASS' sons or
other descendents, I would be most grateful. We have no other links to Chaya
Dwora's family. Please reply off list.
