Origin of naming conventions with dissimilar names #general

Does anybody have a logical explanation why the following name
combinations 'went together'?
Ithamar Ephraim, Yechiel Mechel, Tzvi Aryeh, Levi Yitzchok

These are *not* biblical names whose secondary name is either a reference to
a blessing or animal that had a connection to the person. With the exception of
'Mechel', of which I'd like to know the meaning, all are Hebrew names.

I am aware that if a righteous person had these names, the name was given
over to the next generation, however I would like to know the *original* origin
from where these derivatives were paired together. Was there some Rabbi of
some town?

Thanks in advance,
Miriam Rubin
