Regarding the search for Jews escaping >from Poland to Russia, the CRARG
research project includes more than 2500 such persons (>from "List of Polish
Jewish Refugees Now in USSR, 1945").

Click on "Holocaust" to search these and 1/4 million other Holocaust-era
records:

Some people escaped to Russia, and some escaped to Russia as prisoners of war.
If you check the Karta website, which has been mentioned, you can search
among the lists that have been published.

My in-laws escaped the Warsaw Ghetto only to be captured in Bialistok and
sent to Siberia. They were released at the time of the formation of Anders'
Army.
Good luck
